APPS THAT YOU NEED FOR SCHOOL

All of the following apps can be downloaded free of charge

AUDIBLE This app is perfect for long book projects in which you do not understand the text. Audible allows you to purchase and listen to audiobooks. It is especially helpful if you are an auditory learner and need to listen to a book to understand it.
YOUTUBE If you don't want to spend money on audiobooks, YouTube usually has some form of audiobook or in depth summary you can watch and listen to. YouTube is also amazing for finding a crash course to listen to on a particular topic. Bus rides can become more productive with this app.
TRANSCIBE Slow typing can be a problem of the past if you download this app. By reading or saying something that you want to be typed, Transcribe will type it for you. Google Docs has a similar feature, but I find this app a little simpler to use on a frequent basis. Transcribe uses less time when used correctly and can save you in tight situations.
PHOTOMATH I cannot express how amazing this app is. I first downloaded this app in sixth grade and I still have it on my phone. You can scan any written or typed math problem and it will give you an immediate answer. However, this is not meant for cheating, rather explaining complex math step-by-step. I can help you more than any tutor in some situations.
POWERSCHOOL I'm not sure if all school districts have this, but my grades are entered through PowerSchool. I love this app because you get a notification when any of your grades are entered. It makes it easier to find mistakes and correct them in time. Another great thing this app give you is the ability to warn your parents the moment a bad grade comes in.
QUIZLET Going back to making your bus rides more productive, Quizlet can assist you in studying vocabulary and other stuff in that time. I think most everyone knows what Quizlet is and how it works, but for those who don't; Quizlet allows you to enter information and study it in a way that could be described as interactive flashcards. Even between classes, Quizlet can make a serious difference with your studying,
GOOGLE DRIVE AND DOCS Since I'm a major procrastinator, these apps save my life. They make it so that I can edit and write any essays no matter where I am. There have been many times in which I'm somewhere on my phone working on a project. Google Drive and Docs makes any document or presentation easily accessible from any device, making your life easier from everywhere.
P. SCHEDULE P. Schedule is basically a mobile planner that is always with you on your phone. I hate carrying a heavy planner around in my book bag and P. Schedule is the perfect solution to that. All you need to do is enter the classes you are taking and simply keep track of assignments and larger projects. You can set it so that you get reminders whenever you like. The fact that it is on your phone can push you to use it more often as you spend more time on your device than you do in your book bag.
DICTIONARY The use for this app should be self explanatory for the most part, but any people don't really see the point of downloading it. I get distracted easily when I'm on the internet, no matter what I am doing. This app is designed for only giving you definitions, synonyms and antonyms. Having the app cuts down distractions and saves you time finding what you need for school.
